Sandy Town (Principle):
Sandy officially started training back in 1996 in Rhee Taekwondo and due
to starting a family took time out before coming back and in
December 2002 graded to 1st Dan Black Belt by Master John
Ivanov under the South Pacific Taekwondo Organisation. Sandy was
promoted to 2nd Dan Black Belt from Master Glenn Murray under the
Universal Taekwondo Federation in 2006. Sandy assisted before having
under gone an instructor’s practical and written course and then
took over her own school in 2003 which was moved back in to the main
school where she is
still currently instructing, at the same time joined the Australian Hapkido Group
to further her knowledge and is now currently the highest ranked at
1st kup (Provisional Black Belt). Sandy is also qualified
as a Authentic PUNCHFIT trainer which is accredited through Fitness
Australia. Sandy also holds a Senior First Aid certificate and has
also completed seminars in Arnis, Krav Maga, Boxing and weapons
courses including knife and gun defence.
Cheyenne Hoffman (Martial Sport):
Cheyenne joined us back in March 2001, Cheyenne trained consistently until promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt
from Master Glenn Murray under the Universal Taekwondo Federation on 6th April 2004.
Cheyenne achieved her 2nd Dan on 22nd August 2008
again under the Universal Taekwondo Federation. Cheyenne also became an
Assistant Instructor after completing the CSDF Instructors course on 3rd August 2003 where Cheyenne had to
under go an instructor’s practical and written course, before opening her own class in July 2005 were
Cheyenne runs and Instructs the Martial Sports Team and also assists when Bernard is away or busy with work
or training. Cheyenne is a Level two (2) referee and holds titles in both Sparring and Forms at World, National,
State and Regional levels.
Jody Whitley (Martial Sport):
Jody joined us back in March 2003, Jody trained consistently until promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt from
Master Glenn Murray under the Universal Taekwondo Federation on 15th September 2006. Jody also became an
Assistant Instructor after completing the CSDF Instructors course on 3rd August 2005 where Jody had to
under go an instructor’s practical and written course, before opening her own class in February 2006 were
Jody runs and Instructs the Little Warriors Program and also assists when Bernard is away or busy with work
or training. Jody holds titles in both Sparring and Forms at World, National, State and Regional levels.
